Kim Ju-yeon was a former runner up of Miss Korea 2007
She held a press conference stating that her former boyfriend professional baseball player Hwang Jae-won of the Pohang Steelers allegedly physically attacked and verbally coerced her to have an abortion. Kim Ju-yeon even showed to the media the SMS text message sent by her former boyfriend as proof. It says, “Erase (abort) before things get too difficult”
